FOCUSA summary of Joy's areas of focus in missions: PATERSONIn February 2008, the Lord led a team of people from JOY to explore the possibility of partnering with the Relief Bus, an organization based in Jersey City, to bring the soup bus to the city of Paterson, NJ. By the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we were led to also partner with Vineyard Church in Hackensack to base the soup bus at Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson. Currently, the core team of faithful volunteers is lead by Mindy Kim and Jim Hsu. ZIMBABWEAbout 2 years ago, Ps Danny came to be acquainted with the work of Voice of Peace in Zimbabwe, an organization led by Ps Tatenda Gunguwo, through Deeper Waters Inc.’s involvement in the work with them. Having been led by the Lord, JOY is committed to the partnership with Voice of Peace and Deeper Waters for the long-term, possibly 10 years or more, with a view to serving the poor and bringing the love of Christ to the children. We endeavor to do this through skill training as well as a feeding program that has been started with the generosity of numerous people. Presently, Peter Shin is leading the charge in advocating for the Zimbaweans. INDIA
