The Connections Team strives to help connect those who are new to Joy Family to accountability groups. By introducing the newcomers to accountability groups, the Connections Team seeks to help them to find a group of sisters and brothers to grow, rejoice, and pray together as one body of Christ.

¹²The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. ²⁵so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. ²⁶If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. ²⁷Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. (1 Corinthians 12:12, 25-27)

Specifically, The Connections Team can help the newcomers to:

• get connected to a TLC
• get information on becoming a member of Joy Family
• get introduced to various ministry groups and how to get involved (i.e. missions, worship team, children's ministry, sports ministry, and etc.)

Our desire is to help new comers to feel comfortable and welcomed to our church and to help them grow in Christ's love and feel supported and nurtured by the body of Christ at Joy.
